Hire Yourself and Join Arbonne to avoid this....

Wellness/Prevention: Avoid Absenteeism.
The US is losing $226 billion per year due to employee absenteeism. A worker is less likely to take sick leave if their supervisor offers support (lightened work load or stress management training) when an employee is experiencing psychosomatic stress symptoms. The worker feels inclined to reciprocate the supportive treatment by keeping their work effort high.

Interesting!

Exercise: Exercise Linked To Change In DNA.
Exercise almost immediately alters DNA in healthy but inactive men and women. Although the genetic makeup is not altered, DNA molecules change structurally and chemically when a person exercises. One researcher noted, "Our muscles are really plastic. We often say 'You are what you eat.' Well, muscle adapts to what you do. If you don't use it, you lost it and this is one of the mechanisms that allow that to happen."

MATH

Your Attitude + Your Choices = Your Life

Full Potential

"It is generally believed that the average person uses only about ten percent of their potential. That is to say that the average person could be ten times more productive and successful than they currently are. Studies done at Stanford University Brain Institute are even less flattering. They claim that the average person only uses about two percent of their full potential. No matter which figure you agree with, it is clear that we perform far below what we are capable of."

How well do you know your chicken?

Thank you to my sister for sharing this with me.  While it seems a little on the "alarmist" side its actually not.  Sometimes the truth hurts.   Take a read and see what you think!

Arbonne Charitable Foundation takes flight!

Arbonne Charitable Foundation:
The 501(c)(3) registered charity will focus on aligning with non-profits that are established and include building self-esteem for teens as a part of their mission. Then, as we work to plant roots for Arbonne's Foundation, partnering with existing, established organizations will help us build a bridge to success. The Foundation is committed to sharing its people and products in local communities, with the goal of improving lives in meaningful ways. The Foundation will reach all across the United States and Internationally, as well. Official Launch will be on April 26th and several events have been underway to prepare for the launch. The Arbonne spirit of giving back and lending a hand is alive and well!

Clara loves "envelope".... which is her way of saying 'cantaloupe'.
I will never look at that melon the same. :)

Stressed? Yoga!

Exercise: Yoga And Stress.
Yoga may be effective for stress-related psychological and medical conditions such as depression, anxiety, high blood pressure and cardiac disease. The theory could be used to develop specific mind-body practices for the prevention and treatment of these conditions in conjunction with standard treatments.

Sweet Potato Cakes

This is my kinda cake! I don't know that I would even use the yogurt sauce since I think these look amazing naked. For flour you can use a gluten-free all purpose flour in place of the recommended flours. CLICK for recipe.
